lost power

i just lost power to my fuel pump i checked fuses didn't find anything. Is it safe to wire up your own switch for the fuel pump or will it cause problems.

what about the relay?.. maybe fuel pump itself is bad.. did u check connections on there?

i run mine direct but through a relay( no voltage drop at high rpm's) and its got a switch, theft prevention i suppose....

Edit: have you checked to see if u get power at the pump? bad ground maybe?

yeah i pulled the pump and checked it and seam to be fine as for the relay i am not sure which relay it is or how to check it. by the way Black top s13
