i am wanting to know if i can run s15 engine, ecu, and harness, but run s14 coil packs? i know you need a ignitor chip for s14.. can i run my own wire from pin outs of ecu into ignitor chip and then into coil packs?
thank you in advance any help is appreciated.

Not even sure if that will work. S15's doesnt have igniter chips nor needs it. If you're just having issues finding S15 coilpacks, you can get Splitfire S15 coilpacks as an aftermarket option.

No you cant. If you are going to run s13/s14 coil packs, you need to run an s14 harness, ecu and source a s13/s14 ignitor. All the plugs on the s14 will plug up to your s15 engine.
Plus I doubt the s15 ecu is going to have pinouts for you to run an external ignitor.

If you decide to do this route...your best bet is to get ahold of a Kouki S14 ECU and harness.
