KA24E and KA24DE

Whats the difference?? I am assuming that the DE is DOHC?? and the E is SOHC??

And in what years did each come in??

Thanks sorry about the stupid question i just want to know as much about 240s as I can before i start modding.

thats is right the KA24E is a SOHC and only comes in the year 89-90 240 that KA24DE is DOHC and comes in 91-94 the KA24E comes with 140 horese And the KA24DE comes with 155 horses 15 more than the KA24E
