For me and anybody else looking for a policy...

What do all of you pay for insurance?

What year 240 are you insuring, are there any other cars on the policy, is the 240 listed as primary if multiple cars, what does your policy cover, whats your deductiable, what company, your own policy or joint (parents, wife, kids, etc...), traffic or other violations that raise your cost, schools that lower your cost, anything else you feel will help...
Please go into as much detail as you care to :) the more the better.

I don't know if region matters, but if anybody can varify that it does, please include that as well.

Thx in advance

Everyone will love this one....

Me 20y old, no tickets.
Car 91' 300ZXTT.

Full Coverage, I'm the only primary driver: $75 a month ($450 6 months)
$500 deductible, but i'm gonna get a lower one soon. Most options available I chose.

:D

EDIT: yes location matters I believe. Because my rep told me its better money wise, to insure it in N. Carolina then Florida.

USAA, its only available to military people/family I believe. I had partial coverage on my 200SX and that cost more ($80) then full on my Z, it must have been because I was overseas.

EDIT: My eyes nearly popped out of my head when they told me how much it would cost ----> perfect desriptive smiley right there.

You know my deal Dave :D
Not as good as Ca18Guy's

I've also got USAA, my dad is retired military

Age: 18
Previously had a bad driving record, recently was wiped clean due to a "second chance program", i jave one ticket on my record and positive +4 points.

$773/6 monthes=roughly $130 per month for 2 vehicles full coverage. I currently drive a '96 200sx daily driver (full coverage) and a 92 240sx coupe SE occasional/pleasure (full coverage)

it actually turns out to be more expensive if i only drive the 240sx
$946/6monthes=roughly $160 per month.

i can stick with USAA as long as i want as long as i dont get kicked off or swithc plans then try to get back.:D

When it was just the 93 240sx it was 850/yr for liability only. It went up with a 2nd car but I'm not sure how much. Also they told me that the 240sx is in the lowest price bracket (i.e. switching to a different car couldnt make it less only more) for liability.

This is on my parents policy.

Company is National Ben Franklin or something like that. No tickets, at least none that have gone on my record....yet.

when you guys say "full coverage", does that mean legal MINIMUM?

full coverage to me would be the max the company would insure (for example: $1,000,000 bolidy/collision) or something like that.

just want to verifiy.

By full coverage I mean bodily/collision/liabilty of around $100,000 each, I cant remember exact numbers since I haven't even got the papers in the mail yet.

20 year old male with state farm, no at fault accidents, good student discount (still in college) multicar discount (mother and brother) and long time customer bonus (parents policy holders since like 1970 lol.

I have basic liability and towing insurance, which runs me I believe around 900-1000 bucks a year.
It just went up this year, and its going up again. hopefully me turning 21 will offset the increase a little bit.
