Can anyone recomment a good brand of 6.5" speakers to put into the front doors of an 95 s14. Keeping in mind fitment and other mods due the size of today's magnets make things more complex than just browsing ebay and bargin shopping to install what seems like a good fit. thanks

Just to let you know, the s14 speakers are actually 6 3/4 so a 6.5 will be slightly small and need modification unless it is a 6.5 with oversize fit ment also. Good luck

Infinity Kappas 652.5i or the 60.5s component set. the 652.5i is oversized for the 63/4 opening and fits perfect. (i have those in back and the components up front) great sounding speakers

Yeah Im pushing my Kappas with an eclipse 60x4 and I can blast them pretty loud (no AC means highway gets the window down treatment :) ) I need to get my subwoofer back in the car. I miss that really low end

BEissen, I'm pretty sure thouhg speakers have the over size bolt pattern on them and that is why they fit . Even though they are 6.5 they also fit 6 3/4. I was looking at thoughs for my car as well.

judging from the fact that steeles has 6 1/2” speakers in front, i would have to say that you could fit 6 1/2” speakers all around. i got the kappas 652.5’s in the front and the 63.5’s in the back. like steeles mentioned, the 652.5’s are 6 3/4” and they dropped in perfectly up front. just bolt in/bolt out. the 63.5’s are 6 1/2” and they bolted in perfectly as well, with no modification whatsoever. so therefore, 6 1/2” speakers should fit in the front and back with no problems.
