Lime-wire for Mac question

Ok here is what happened, my hard drive got fucked up and I lost everything a while back. Apple sent me a new hard drive and got everything to work fine. But I lost most of my music so I wanted to download lime-wire again. I downloaded lime-wire and everything but now when I try to open the lime-wire program it says it needs java 1.6? and the highest I can download is 1.5. I had it on my computer before and it worked perficially. Why can't I get it to work?

Any help is appreciated

I'm not a computer nerd lol so dumb everything down so I can figure it out hopefully.

Anyone use Frostwire? My old computer was eaten slowly by Limewire. My buddy reformatted my current computer and I don't want it to go through the same torture. My friend that did the re-formatting installed "frostwire" but I haven't used it yet.

Any feedback would be appreciated.
