is there something wrong with this picture? my shifter shakes violently in low speeds and trying to eliminate things.

You're missing the dust collar.

lol yea what he said your missing a piece that goes on the tranny around the whole end i guess thats what its called

That's completely normal. The dust collar coves that up, but it's not required to use. If it bothers you, buy one, tap it on.

If your shifter vibrates like crazy, take it off and make sure the plastic bushing in the end is still there.

it's not really the shifter vibrating, more like the whole gearbox is shaking. like the whole tranny unit. Usually in 1st gear or reverse when I go slow, low rpm. it's prob the mounts, but want to make sure everything else is ok. any ideas?

Check your tranny mount, it may be shot. Also, engine mount too.

Check the carrier bearing, you can balance the driveshaft or buy one piece driveshaft.

this sounds like the tranny mount. hook up with a nismo unit
