I use an ebay one and to me it feels just like the NRG one.

A cheap quick release will wear prematurely and is usually made from metal which has a poor metalurgy.
I've seen the 'ball locks' on the cheaper ones begin to elongate and not affix properly which in turn means there is play in the steering.
For a part which could leave you and your car in someone front yard when it fucks out, go for the better option.. Works Bell make the best quick releases on earth.

get a NRG slim, no ball bearings.. goin on 2 years with mine, works great looks good. Have a friend who got a ebay knock off of a similar style, fitment of its own parts was shit, really tight to where it was best to just leave it on etc.

I had an ebay quick release for almost 2 years. Finish wore off and was kind of loose. lol

Difference is just quality pretty much. Id go with at least nrg though, maybe megan.

Definitely go with NRG. I have two and I have no issues on either of my cars. One of them I've been using for 2.5 years already and it's given me no issues.

Works Bell. NRG is just a semi-cheap knock off of the real deal.

Works Bell for the win. A cheap copy cat is just that. Hell it only turns the wheels.

It is like anything buddy. Cheeper materials lead to premature wear, possable breakage, and poor fitment.
I got a Fet QR, and I went with a E-bay hub...the hub sucks and will be replaced. The Fet is sick...very solid.

Do not get the ebay one with the ball bearing locking type. I just received mine, brand new but it is very loose that the steering wiggle around. Not recommended.

i got the nrg 2.5 quick release and it works good, its paired with a works bell short hub. you cant go wrong with either brand. i actually had the nrg short hub to but when i found out it didn't come with airbag resistor for the s14 i sent it back..
