Just wondering if anybody here has done the swap and if they could provide any insight on the matter.

My car is currently equipped with manual windows and I have all the parts necessary to convert to powered. I bought the doors off a wrecked S13 with power options and have a basic idea of what I'm doing in terms of what is necessary to do the swap.

My goal is to swap the internals as swapping the entire door would mean paint not matching.

Anyways, my problem now isn't the wiring (should be a cinch, 4 wires only) but rather the removal of the powered window assembly. From the looks of it, with the windows rolled all the way up on the powered windows, there are only 2 screws that I can access. The logical thing to do would be to roll the windows down but they're powered so that's kind of out of the question..

Edit:
Now that I think about it, would I just remove and swap the whole track assembly?

yes you can just remove the whole assembly. if your window is in better condition just swap them while its out.

They have these cool things called batteries. You can use one to roll the window down. Remove the four M6 nuts, remove the glass. Then remove the four M8 nuts, remove the regulator.
