Pretty soon I'll be dumping my 240 on a friend to trade for his hardbody d21. I was wondering if anyone knew a write-up or site dealing with putting Independent Suspension in the rear of the hardbody.
Notes:
I've been searching the internet for weeks
I really love hardbodys
I'm thinking of putting a turbo or SC'd SOHC in this bitch
I'm in over my head...so are a lot of people on this site tho :bigok::bigok:
Edit: Question for extra info... Anyone know if all the hardbodys are 6 lug? How hard is it to swap to 5 lug? Guess if I put a new rear in that part will be done but I just wanted to ask...

i am very informative on these trucks
yes everyone is 6 lug
you can convert to 5 lug from a toyota truck and fit 5 x 114.3 wheels
as for suspension it has already been done
go to infamous nissan and they will tell you everything you need to know

I'm not too familiar with the hardbodies since I havent really checked out the setup, but check the infamous forum and they should have threads that will help you out.

IIRC it has to do with something about the pathfinder that year having the same frame but independent suspension. Supposedly you can swap it over. I miss my hardbody but the 240 had more support so I went with that.
