Ok so i have a s13 sr20det blacktop in a 95 converted auto to manual. i have looked and seached and found bits and peices on how to get the tranny harness wired correctly. im useing the sr harness because iam using the sr tranny and they say the sr and ka trannys are the same and let me say that cosmeticly they are but the wires coming off do not match up so with that said... my hypothesis is that i use the sr20det lower harness and rewire the three plugs conecting under the stock usdm fuse box? If memory serves te JDM harness has i think 10 wires that run to three plugs and the usdm harness has only 7 (i think) ive traced the wires from both ends (engene, fuse box, tranny, vss, alt. starter etc.). i was going to take the three male ends off the ka harness and splice them in the sr harness but anybody who can count will relize that 10 cannot go into 7 no matter how you try lol ill try and post pics of what i mean and what wires im going to put where.

on my 95 chassis the three female plugs are as follows:

1st plug- 4 wires
2nd plug-1 wire
3rd plug- 2 wires

Im not looking for somone to force feed me knowledge i just dont want to ruin a perfectly good harness for nothing, and would like to get hands on experince (one tends to have respect for the car more in my eyes) so with that ill open it up to you, sorry if i didnt give a good enough sit-rep.

Thanks for looking,

kaking
