can someone please help my car wont start its a 1990 s-13
here is what is going on when i turn the key the motor cranks but dosnt fire. the battery is fine i checked it and it has 12.5volts i even tried boosting the car.
i dnt know if im getting any spark how can you tell if your working by your self because i cant see under the hood and turn the key at the same time.

i think its the fuel delivery though i disconnected the sparkplug wires and cranked the motor a few times then removed the spark plugs and they were dry correct me if im wrong but shouldent they be wet frim the unburnt fuel ?

should i disconect a fule line and crank the motor over to see if fuel is comming through the line? i checked the fuel pump fuse and its fine.

on a side note how do i access the fuel pump and where is the fuel filter located its a 1990 s-13 coupe.

any help at all would be great what other things should i look for or any other troubleshooting methods?

thank you

Fuel filter is on the passenger side front strut tower. (Look at your motor from the front, and follow the lines back from the fuel rail. One line will go down to the body on the left side and you'll see the filter there.) The fuel pump is in the back and can be accessed by opening your trunk and unscrewing the cover plate.

Maybe you need a fuel pump?
