Can you run staggered wheels on a GTR? 4WD could be an issue?

All the 32/33/34 GTR owners I know run 10J all round

the staggered offset/widths won't be too much of an issue if he runs the same tire size all the way around.

I'd still prefer to run the same setup at all four corners for ease of rotation/etc though.

Whatever you do run some wide tires, roll those fenders and enjoy. I have a friend who is running 295 hoosiers all around on his GTR. I'll give you some pictures. 18x10.5 with effective 15 offset. The fenders are rolled completely flat, no pull. No rub.

ya staggered will be a problem still 4wd, ( drift like that too, i like it) what do you guys think about these wheels i dont have photo shop so i cant chop em on for visual but there WEDS sport. i think it would be sick to run 10.5 on all four corners..... Wheels > Weds Sport > SA-70 | weds (http://www.weds.co.jp/english/products/wedssport/sa70.html)

A lot of GT-R guys run 9" or 10" wide wheels all around with a +20 offset.

No, dont stagger it...ATTESA will have a fucking shit fits. You cant stagger for the reason that it senses the difference. The Work Equips I got came out of an R33 GTR, 18x10 +18 with the BBK face to clear the big calipers and got 3.5" lip all around.

as long as the effective rolling diameter of the tire is the same at all 4 corners, it should be fine.

evo owners don't do it often but they run staggered offsets and sometimes staggered widths too. same tire size all around though.

I honestly don't know how different the Attessa system is from the Evo's but if you think logically about it a small difference in rolling diameter from a say a 270/40/17 mounted on a 17x9 vs being mounted on a 17x9.5 is probably less than 2 tenths of an inch.

If the difference in width was more, I can see it screwing with the way the ecu controls power to each wheel.

Regardless though, one of the drawbacks is going to be additional wear and tear on the center and rear diffs.

Ray if you know something about Attessa that I don't please post! I really only know evo stuff... :p
