I just got my front 300zx brake kit, and I was wondering if there was anyone on these forums that is willing to help me out on installing them. I got a good deal on this kit from Jeff240sx (thanks Jeff) and I cant wait to put these brakes in my car. I live in LA/Pasadena area, so if there is anyone in that area willing to help me, that will be so good. I have done a lot of research on the swap, but I dont have enough faith in myself to do it. I have never done anything to my car, and I want to learn and all, but I just dont want to mess up my first thing in trying to mod my car. So, if anyone is willing to help, and teach me, and help me put the brakes in and bleed them and all that, it will be very much appreciated. OH YA, and I do not have a single tool in my house. No jack, no wrenches, no nothing, so... I dont think it can be done in my garage. So I will be willing to drive over to the house of whoever can help me out. Thanks PEACE

Or if you're able to find some tools I might be able to help you out. I found these links that show that the installation is pretty straight forward so you could do it yourself. 300zx brake swap (http://www.zilvia.net/installs/zbrakes/300zx.asp)

I have heard of Rowland Heights, but where is it exactly? How far is it from Pasadena? I think I can go there, I have been on pretty long drives befors, and I can definitely got there on the weekend, wherever it is. I got everything on that list that you mentioned niteKids. I got the calipers, pads, rotors, stainless-steel conversion lines lines, they are rebuilt, they are ZX twin turbo 30mm, and they are iron I believe. The only thing I dont have is the oil. I dont know what oil to get, or where to get it. But I can get that quickly, and then we could probably make arrangements to meet. That will be great man, get at me. AIM:graphikG04 email:

DOT Spec 4 or spec 3 for the oil...local autozone will have it. DO NOT get dot spec 5 brake fluid...will screw up your lines. I suggest you go to a local hardware store, pick up the tools needed (pm me for a list of tools needed), and dive right in to it. It may be your first mod ever, but just dive right into it. What's the worst that can happen, you hit a dead point? Get on here, ask a question and it'll get answered.
