My water pump is now suddenly streaming water from the weep hole. It would take about a week to get one from thenismoshop.
Could I get a beck arnly one from napa per say, would it be just as good as the OEM nissan one? Something I dont want to cheap out on, however I cant be down a week without a daily

Waterpumps for the RWD SR is unique to that motor, sentra or anything won't work.
If for KA.... I dunno if beck arney even carries a replacement. I would try other Nissan Dealerships....

its a ka24de
Ill try the dealerships, however if that fails Im going to have to get a napa one, just wondering if OEM contracts a specific company to make theirs

Honestly I dont feel any parts from Napa, Autozone, or Pepboys is as good as oem.
They may be rebuilt and remanufactured oem parts but its not OEM quality.
The only parts I would run on my car from those places are the ones that include a lifetime warranty that way if it fucks up, I can easily get another one.

Go to a shop that orders from WorldPac for parts and go through them. The parts that they sell are OE suppliers not reman like Beck Arnley or A1 Cardone.

I have been running on a beck arnley water pump for two years now without a single problem. In fact, I havent even thought about it until today. I don't understand why this stuff gets a bad rap.
i have rebuilt beck arnley injectors from napa for over a year now good stuff
i only buy stuff from napa or carquest if not oem and need it right away

You guys may notice that although a lot of places sell rebuilt parts, NO ONE sells a rebuilt water pump. They can't be rebuilt. Any water pump you buy anywhere is a brand new unit, period. That said, some manufacturers use lower grade castings but Beck Arnley is a great supplier and uses quality materials, it's just as good as OE for less money. I've used their parts for over a decade on tons of cars with no problems.
Buy it. You're fine. I'm all about OE too but some things aren't any different or just not required to buy from a dealer.

I have a brand new S13 pump I bought from the nismoshop about a month ago. It's yours for $80 shipped. I have not even opened the box. I bought it thinking I was going to need to replace the old one, but It's working fine. Took me about a MONTH to get it in from the nismoshop.com as they had backordered from NISMO-Japan.
