if its the starter only, just order a new one look through the for sale forum, im sure someone would be selling one on the cheap

yo, there's apparently a starter you can get from NAPA that works perfectly in the RB25 tranny. I don't know this firsthand, but i know there's a bunch of other guys who have used it without any problems. Got this part number & link from a reputable guy on NICO.

ive seen them on ebay for $60

Whenever I have friends with starters and alternators crapping out, I just tell them to have it rebuilt - it's like the same price as finding a used one, except its brand new inside. If you get a deal on a used one ($60 or so), pick it up, otherwise just pay the $100 to get yours rebuilt locally.
