so i was thinking about getting a jdm cluster for my s14, with white faces. just wondering...if the speed is in km/h...does that mean the trip and odometer are kilometers?

Per change it is. Zenki clusters plug into Zenkis, but Koukis will require the matching plugs to be rewired into the harness.

not to sound like an intentional asshole here but you do know that usdm SE's have white faces also right? plus then you dont have to deal with mental speed conversions.

i used to have a little piece of paper taped up in the corner of my winshield to remind me kph to mph and it had like 10mph = XXkph and 30mph = XXkph and so on.. lol

I have a Kouki and my JDM cluster plugged straight in..

I do have a car that came factory with an SR20 though so I cant comment for KA's.

Then your JDM cluster was also from a Kouki. It's the same in all markets, the Kouki clusters have fully round speedo and tach while the Zenki cluster has slightly oval speedo and tach that overlap each other.

He meant to say that the plugs on USDM Zenki Cluster will work with JDM Zenki Cluster and Kouki for Koukis.

Plus, if I remember correctly, doesnt the Zenki got 2 plugs while the Kouki got 3 plugs???

My SE Zenki had white faces, Put the USDM, JDM, UKDM zenki clusters are all "plug and play"

Learning all the km to mph takes a week but if you wanna learn it then go for it but if not just buy the usdm one, its all up to you

I think my Zenki had 3 plugs... dunno about Kouki.

And yes, SE zenkis have white faces. Kouki's also have that faux carbonish sorta faceplate, zenki is smooth.

Zenki has four plugs, kouki has three. I don't know why this thread is still going, we've been over this for the last decade.
