As comes with college (and too many EXPENSIVE tickets in rape-you-in-the-ass-arizona) the budget is tight, but i really need my ecu tuned. I am running a s14 sr, bored 10 over, adjustable cams, sr maf, bc 272 cams, bc valve springs and retainers, circuit sport rocker arm stoppers, stock t28 turbo, full exhaust and exhaust manifold, but stock ecu.
I am looking to run 550cc injectors and z32 maf and leave it there, so i am not looking for a crazy stand alone set up. Infact, if i could avoid the Power FC, that would be good cuz its pricey. Does anyone have recomendations on inexpensive fuel and ignition management?
Thanks

You could get a SAFC but your gonna need a wideband too. Why would you run 272's on the stock ecu and turbo? Your probly not benefiting from those at all, if anything it's hurting you. You could also get a ROM tune. I think Deatchwerks is doing ROM tunes now for a SR.

So what your saying is that you spent all that money and your skimping on the one thing to make all of those upgrades run like the way their suppose to run.
Ah I see.
I'm not trying to sound like a dick, but that's really the truth.

i was thinking the same thing, but that it's the part that keeps your engine from blowing up.

I purchased it that way. If i had built the engine, the cams would be much smaller

So switch them out, make some money off them and buy a used power fc

Don't get a Power Fc, Get a AEM or a Haltech instead. BTW i have a SAFC for sale if you need one LMK. I have A pfc L-jetro and so far i am not impressed. It will work and it will work well, but the other are greater. Getting the idle right sucks and correcting for fuel settings sucks too on the PFC.
