They only work if you press in s13 bearings.
This is what I've done.

They do work, I'm using that currently in my car now. You have to press the s13 bearings in and alos get a machine shop to cut a new groove for the c-clip since the s13 beaaring are a little taller. Not hard at all. Alot cheaper than other routes.

sounds dangerous.
How so? I would really love to know how having a part properly machined could be so dangerous. I've seen people fuck with their timing just so they can blow flames out of the exhaust. I've seen people ride on 3 of 4 lugs for years. I've seen people remove the driverside airbag and install an aftermarket steering wheel and then not wear a seat belt.
If you think something like this is dangerous, sell whatever car you mod and go buy a Volvo, because this is alot safer than some of the janky shit I've seen by a long shot. After that, if you feel so attention starved that you have to let exactly what's on your mind at that second, get a twitter account and leave the dangerous stuff to everyone else.

I've been rolling j30's for months. Just swap in s13 bearings and be sure to get a machine shop to open up the inside a bit and add a new c-clip groove. Not dangerous at all if done right.
