Hey, just got my new FN01R-C 17x8" (fronts) and 17x9" (rears) today! Whats a good tire size for these wide mofos? How does 235/40 front and 255/40 rear sound? :D

do they rub when you:

1. do sharp turns?

2. have a few passengers?

sharp or everday u turns at times. not much tho juss *scuff*scuff* and thats it

the number of passengers doesnt cause any rubbing only when i do u turns.

What tire brand are you running?... cause I'm considering the same size, if not 235/40's

Your guys' rubbing may be due to offset and suspension choice.

fadetoblack: What offsets did you get?

Silviadriver: Your offsets? Suspension?

Give us some mroe info. If you have insufficiently soft spring rates, your body roll will surely add to your rubbing issues and more so when there are passengers.

I haven't seen jonathan's car since like november, but last I recall, there were 5 lug and suspension upgrade for (obvious) braking and unsprung weight reduction advantages... Hopefully, you will make the drive down Saturday but it sounds like you got it all done? as it stands to the subject at hand: not enough information has been given in regards to offset and your suspension... With the right math, you will be fine, but without, you have the potential to FUCK up

You SHOULD be fine, but I can't garantee, b/c I have no idea how that suspension reacts while driving hard.
