Car wont start

my car will start for about half a second then shuts off
i don't know what happened
i was driving i shifted from 1st to 2nd
was trying to go fast if that helps anyone

then the engine just died i pulled over
and it starts for about half a second then dies on its own

check your intake for leaks.

check your ignition coil also..

and all your fuses.

If all that is good, possibly you CPS? Same thing happened to me in different car. crank position sensor went out. That or maybe in your distributor. Check if you're gettin spark.

could be fuel pump or regulator
