okay whats up guys, so recently my car has been dying on occasion when i stop at stop signs, or put it in nuetral to stop. AND, its been a bitch to start lately too. i have to crank it for a long time with the gas pedal floored until it starts, and when it does start it sounds like hell, almost as if its running on 1-2 cylinders. i pulled it in the garage when i got home today to take a look at some stuff. i pulled of my intake tube and cleaned up the throttle body.

i am stumped as to why its doing this because it has a brand new fuel pump, injectors, cap&rotor, plugs, wires. the compression is good, the maf is good and super clean, has a fairly new o2 sensor. it has good spark on all 4 cylinders, its getting fuel to the cylinders because (i can smell it when im cranking, and see it fuming out the exhaust) and also, it shows NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CODES. when i can get it to start it runs pretty good, its just the shutting off by itself that is stumping me.

and NOW it wont start at all, im sitting here on the floor in the garage with my laptop searching and searching of what i can do and nothing seems to work. please help people! this sucks DICK

****UPDATE****
okay, so i pulled the positive battery cable off the battery and let it sit a while, reconnected it and tryed starting again. it started after what seemed a minute of non stop cranking. it was weird because all of a sudden it started to fire and poof smoke donuts out the exhaust. im not wondering if my coil is going bad, or isnt delivering a strong enough spark. any input is appreciated.

no vacuum leaks. tryed starting with the maf unplugged already an no difference. its a 93' and yea i flooded it this time. heres an example: i pull up to a stop sign, down shift as usual and come to a stop. soon as i give it gas to go again, its like someone pulled the key out of the ignition, it just cuts out and dies.

fuck getting a new car! ive had this one for so long. SR is the ultimate solution....but for now i'd like it to run for a while longer. i want to make it to 220,000 miles. car normally runs like a champ, i take awesome care of it and maintain it very well.

FIXED IT. so it all boiled down to the ecu. the injectors were either not pulsing, or getting stuck open. i swapped ecu's and it starts right up and drives fine now. doesnt stall, die or surge. thanks for the input guys! glad it was a quick fixa
