EGI Problem, tach acting up?

When i turn off my 240 the egi relay buzzes like crazy, disconnecting the relay and reinstalling it stops the buzzing while the car is off, also if i change gear with the car off the tach reacts? it will jump around.

Also the battery im using right now is shot, i have to put a charger on it to start it but that shouldnt be causing this problem correct?

Also im wiring in an electic fan and would like to know wheres a good place to get igition wire from in the engine bay.

Rule of thumb I live by is, always start with battery. Replace battery then recheck.

I had the same problem with my freshly swaped ka and I know this might sound dumb but check all your grounding points. Seriously check them, I found a lose dirty ground and once cleaned and tightened my egi has never buzzed and my car does not stay in the "on" mode any more.
