When you say the cluster needs a "plug" what exactly do you mean...

To my knowledge... The 3 plugs in the back are part of the cluster itself...

no sir.....just some black over spray when i attempted to paint my engine bay lol

yes but i mean the plug that plugs up the the dash harness..

yeah, that's rear then(assuming it's for the s13). too bad I already have a rear :(
