hey guys, i just dropped my 2JZ into my coupe last night. and the radiator/fans are about 1/2 inch from hitting the pulleys, and i'd reallly like to keep them pullers.
so what is the slimest fan out there?

another thing to consider is how much air they move for being that size....

damn i have always thought that the 2j sat a little further back then that. also why not look into pusher fans and put them on the other side of the rad?

yeah i was hoping it would sit back further but ah well.
i was gonna do a pusher and a puller with the fans i had, but idk about blocking the radiator.

I have the same issue and I'll probably go with pusher fans..

FAL dual 12"
yep id say FAL model 210, or 220 there super slim built in shroud and pull tons of air pricey but well worth it imo.

they're okay... consume a shitload of current and rather noisy (vibrate the chassis) but more importantly, they work.

Mike, I do not think he can ran a dual FAL setup with the 2j its like running a RB he can probably mount one FAL puller off to one side like I did in my RB car.
Then he might be able to fit in a 10 spal slimline fan that is not as powerful alongside as it has a really low profile. I ran a push pull setup on my RB car.
I know several RB guys that run a large high volume pushers on the front side.
The OP might think about sealing up his underside from the edge of the bumper back to the crossmember. The idea is to direct airflow as much as possible and eliminate places were it might flow anywhere but through the fan radiator setup.
Basically running a inline 6 in our cars is and exercise in learning airflow efficiency. LOL Best radiators, strong fans, lots of openings in front of the radiator with sides and bottom sealed up.
