Well....that and i got a ridiculous deal on this thing. Figured i would check out all the hype. It is a fun car.. can't wait to get it right. It was a hack job, although the receipts state it has significant engine work. It does have some issues. It has what "sounds" like a bad lifter, The vortech BTM wasn't hooked up properly, and it is running an AFC with an FMU and a nismo FPR. I have no idea of the injector size. It has a healthy parts list.... if i take my adderral later i will post the list.

I am a "r0tard" (def. One whom prefers things power by spinning triangles) by choice.... couln't pass this up. Hell, maybe do a 20b in a 240..:bite:

Here are some pics... not bad for 900$

My thoughts exactly. Never really thought about an S13 until this one fell in my lap.... The carillo rods and wiseco pistons bypass the cost. Jim Wolf cam, gude head (hope they were better than ones for honda), all the piggyback goodies and suspension were bonuses. Once my bung arrives, i will hook up the lm1 and enjoy this thing...:snoop: (well, now it's a bung, and a tps)

Thanks, The car was originally built in CA... Buddy of mine snagged it from a squid headed out to sea.... Since his SC300 is done (one pictured) i got it from him for what he paid. Everyone else thought it had a rod knock, since the knock attendant indicates a knock. My trusty 20" snap on screwdriver tells me something different.... definitely on the intake side of the head.

Here is the engine bay today... I couldn't sleep thinking about the clusterfuk under the hood, so I trimmed the unneeded. Small start....

much better with most of the wires gone. you should keep the fan shroud. it really helps direct your air flow

Airflow towards what? I made use of two small spal fans i had and moved them to the front of the rad.

FYI, those weren't wires, i pulled probably 35ft of vacuum line out of this thing.

We have a Picture Thread for a reason. Why would you try to show off your car in Tech Talk anyway?

:duh:
