I think I have a blow head gasket because if i let my car sit for 5-7 minutes it runs hot, and if i drive a long stretch for 20-30 mins it runs hot. then white smoke comes from the exhaust side of the engine. How would i fix the head gasket. I also need a thermostat because it jumps everywhere, could that be the problem? Also i see that i have an exhaust leak on the turbo outlet and downpipe.

if i were you i would do one step at a time. a car running hot doesnt immediately mean a blown headgasket. check your compression, if one cylinder is waay of or if all 4 are way less then 10bar ( 140psi i think) try and put some oil in the cylinder that is off, if it still has low numbers then it could be your headgasket. next i would check for that water leak in the turbo system you are talking about if there is nothing, then yes your headgasket is more then likely blown.

s14 head on s13 sr is possible there is a very informative and detailed thread about the differences and how to do it.

Also for car running hot, I'd check your cooling system. Do you have a radiator fan setup? either the factory clutch fan or an e-fan setup. I know for a fact that if you have neither your engine will heat up when idling, especially in warm weather. Got coolant in your oil or oil in your coolant? ...Signs of a blown headgasket.
