"Eleanor" is the silver GT500. the cop dude is all "he drove that car off the pier one time". and then in the end after it gets all fucked up, another one shows up all multicolor and shitty and nick cage's brother goes "i saved it from the wrecker" or something, and NC calls it Eleanor, and so on.

the question: is it supposed to be the SAME CAR every time, or just ANY GT500?

like, did nick cage drive it off a pier, then somebody fixed it, then he stole it for the wood guy, then it got wrecked, then his brother from Boiler Room got it back somehow? or does Nick Cage and the Cop just call every GT500 ever "Eleanor"?

Every GT500 is not Eleanor. Just every GT500 that Memphis attempted to acquire.

There is no way that after the car was picked with a giant claw crane, then dropped somewhere so that Kipp could swing the claw back around to save Memphis, that the car magically got a repaired roof, lost a quarter vent, and changed to a rusted white paint job.
