S13 KA24E IACV Solenoid reassembly?

I removed the solenoid and the spring and plunger fell out. I can't find anything online for an exploded view.



Which direction does the round plunger thing go and where would the spring go?



And will RTV gasket rubber be enough to seal it back on the ECCS without a gasket?

the second pic, and yes but i recommend you find an o ring that's the same size as the original.

Am I missing a rubber O-Ring?

Can I use RTV gasket sealer instead of buying a new gasket?


So the spring goes inside the Solenoid?

Because the piston from the AAC pushes it out the other end and it falls into the square cavity as shown.

i think this is an s13. not sure what yours is.I saw that photo - it isn't the same--must be from a DOHC.

Mine is SOHC.
