I want to make sure I am going to get an accurate reading from my fuel pressure gauge so I want to make sure to install it in the appropriate location. Should I put it on a feed or return line?

Anyone? feed or return line? I'm guessing return.

The fuel passes through the rail, then hits the pressure regulator, then goes to the return - the pressure regulator closes down to raise pressure, and opens to lower it.
You want it on the feed side.
Any adjustable FPR will have a 1/8" NPT port for a gauge.

You guessed wrong.. Like Jordan said it goes on feed line... Anywhere between the fuel filter and the fuel rail is fine...

Most do except nismo style.. :)

One more reason not to trust them. I've heard more stories of Nismo goin bad than stock failing.
FYI - pressure it set at idle (make sure you're idling good), with and without the vacuum line plugged in. Off the top of my head, SR20 is 43psi w/o vacuum, 36psi with.

:stupid: yes do as Jordan says, set to 43.5psi aka 3bar without vac line hooked up. That is... If you even have an FPR?
Do you have an electronic gauge or a little analog/Jegs style one...

thanks for the info. I have a little oil filled mechanical one and no adjustable FPR. Just the stocker for the time being.
