Problem: I did the rear z32 rear upgrade on my 4 lug s14, i made the mistake of getting used rotors and redrill them to 4 lug (costly mistake). Now i'm faced with the problem of the pads not rubbing evenly on the rotors. They seemed to be warped....
My solution: Since I spent so much money on the rotors alone...to get them to 4 lug. I want to know if I leave the pads in their it will wear down
the rotors evenly in time ? or is their any other solution/s.
Thanks

Turn them, drilling to 4lug on a plane or press shouldn't warp them.

The setup is already on the car but the problem is the brake pads aren't rubbing on the rotor uniformly, so thats why i said they are warped: probably from the previous use remember they aren't new rotors...

it cost me 30 bucks to drill rotors, and i didnt feel that was cheap? how much did u spend on rotors to drill them?
just buy new rotors next time theyre not that expensive
btw you cant turn slotted or cross drilled rotors only blanks, be aware of that also

I paid $40 dollars to drill each rotor, and another 50 to purchase both of them, and these were used rotors.....i know i made a pricely mistake. I didn't know you couldn't turn drilled and/or slotted rotors either, i just found that out from you. They are blanks so I might turn them when i get the chance. I might even buy some nice drilled and slotted rotors in the future and redrill them, just to get a better setup.
I am fairly new at being a backyard mechanic...lol. Its very expensive to learn on your own, i have been realizing this lately. Thanks

Just get some sentra rotors and you won't have to redrill them.

What kind of sentra rotors....year size and whatever other info i need, i heard their is some discrepancy on the size of the rotor vs. the size of the caliper....

I just realized your problem is the rear rotors, nevermind.
