car drove good when i picked it up from the shop and it died again...
battery voltage could be too low? that it wont even charge with alternator?

Maybe it's possible you have some sort of drain in the system (ie. open circuit, bad light switch, etc..). If this is the case the battery is just too low to keep up.

any lower harness issues, when i did my sr swap i tried using the sr lower harness and it messed me up, switched it back to a good ka harness and it worked? just my 2 cents

go a multimeter?
If it dies while driving i would say alternator but you said they changed it. so check the wiring or test the alternator or battery

I would go back to the dealership if they said it was the alternator and you still have your problem.

update...
didnt mess with it for 2 days, started looking for more stuff and ended up with nothing. cranked the car back up and it turned on, drove it for about 10 miles and no problems..., turned it off and on... no problem
took it to autozone and alternator and battery checked fine, battery OK but low voltage...., they went ahead and recharged it, put it back on the car..., the only thing is that the lights dim whenever i press the gas...
any ideas????
