I have a '90 180sx and I was thinking about getting Whiteline springs for it and then buying KYB AGX shocks as well. I heard coilovers are better but I don't want to spend that much. Unless there are some good ones in my price range? I'm not wild about spending more than $750.
Any buddy have any suggestions? So many options...
Thanks,
Here's the website where I was thinking about getting the parts from.

no 'true' coilovers (not starting a debate, by true i mean what most people consider coilovers: tein, jic, zeal, etc)
no true coilovers in yoru price range
shocks and springs
mm maybe tein and agx
or prokit and agx
goddammit! USE THE SEARCH MODE..this comes up weekly!

whiteline/AGX is an excellent setup. I say go for it... spend the remainder on something else suspension-wise. bushings, pillowball tension rods, swaybars, something like that.
coilovers are "better" only if you need to personally select spring rates and make height adjustments.

look into ground control. That should be around how much they would come up to for ground control + kyb AGX.

yeah AGX+GCs would be the best for your price range, whiteline or eibach springs would be a good way to go too.
did you get your car from japan or australia?
if not then please don't call it a 180. Be proud to have a 240sx.

www.coximports.com has a set of KYB AGX's for 370 shipped. and you can prob find the springs cheap on ebay.
With extra money you can get yourself bushing / or camber kit depending on how low you go.

yeah, cox also has the eibach pro-kits for 212 shipped to your door.
I was researching for a couple weeks and I'm finally gonna buy my kyb agx and pro-kits tomorrow.
Only 582 total is not shabby at all.
By the way, to get the pro-kits for 212 instead of 222 u need to go to groupbuycenter.com first and you'll see that it's an axtra 10 off the quoted price.
