I've got an s13 with a Ground Control/Koni yellow setup. The tires are quickly being destroyed from the car being lowered/misaligned. Like most 240 owners I am on a tight budget. So, I want to take care of my toe problem by purchasing inner & outer tie rods and rear toe arms, and then getting an alignment.

After doing some searching I am considering buying Tein inner & outer tie rods and Megan Racing rear toe rods. What do you guys think? I want to go cheap, but I don't want complete crap. It's my understanding that toe kills tires much faster than camber. The car will see little if any track time, btw.

If you're not going to see tracktime at all, why dont you just either get OEM ends/inners or just adjust your current tie rods. I'm pretty sure you can adjust these yourself if you really need to. Do you have too much toe in? out?

Just jack your car up, straighten your tires visually and just rotate the ends appropriately. Or just rotate the ends as appropriate to adjust it.

Good OEM beefy tie rods and ends are MOOG brand if you really need new ones.

get an alignment before buying new parts. There's plenty of toe adjustment stock.

I have too much toe out. The joints are also blown and the inner rods are bent, so I think it would be best to replace them.

Is there enough adjustment for a mild drop?

again, there's plenty of toe adjustment for mild & low low drops. Camber is usually more of a problem for the super low drops.

In any case, if your tie rods are bent, yes replace them - it's recommended to replace bent/blown suspension parts regardless of whether or not you lower your car... just common sense.

If you don't have the money to get an alignment, why not just wait to install the parts.

Better suspension without an alignment is like having a gourmet chef without a kitchen for them to cook in.

Stock toe arms are good if you don't fuck up your geometry too much.

I had my car tucking tire (almost rim) in the back of my S13 and the only way I could get the toe to zero out in the rear was to have -4.5 degrees of camber.

So consider that.

If you're not dropping the car to the floor just keep the stock arms and just get MOOG or OEM equivalent replacements, you don't NEED Tein. It's really just overpriced OEM.
