Oright well since i got my car up and running due to faulty fuel pump, i had yet came across another problem, but never really thought anything of it.

Problem:

Everytime i floor it, no matter what gear im in, it will sputter as if its choking after 3500 rpm and it will keep goin until i get to rev limit which is 7300.

but when i drive fine and slowly increase my RPM, it would do just fine, but not as much of a sputter.

Im really leaning on to doing a full tune-up such as new spark plugs. plug wires, rotor and cap..

But i just want another opinion before i convert everything from OEM to MSD/NGK.

am i on the right track or i should check something else out first?

Is there anywhere else this problem is coming from? besides the sparks thats it... ?:bash:

Thanks in advance,

-john

Do everything that you said you were going to do, and then purchase yourself a new fuel filter.

check your ignition to sparkplug connections, could have water in there

$20 says its a bad coil pack...

nvm its an N/A model....

check to see if your MAFS is responding correctly. You can watch the signal voltage with a multimeter and blow through the MAFS its self. Also verify that base voltage is correct and there is continuity to the frame.

my car was doing that same exact thing..n it only got worse as i replaced everything that wasnt bad, come to find out it was my fuel tank that was rusting out n clogging up everything. fuel tank strainer filter n injectors etc. take off ur fuel filter n bang out everything in it. if rusty gas comes out or it sounds like sand is in there then you got the same prob:fawk:
