im looking to buy an s13 vert but it has some problems mainly the top
it doesnt want to go up or down
the owner says the baby window track is broken?
i would rather just replace the whole mechanical setup with the top
what are some things i should look for first before i do anything?
where can i order some oem nissan parts for the top and etc?
btw i searched already and it showed up mainly verts for sale
any help would greatly be appreciated.

Is the vert still auto, or has a 5 speed swap been done to it?

That would most likely explain why the top is not functioning. I'm not 100% sure but i think there needs to be a wire grounded to enable the top to go up and down after doing the 5 speed swap.

if its the ground wire its real easy, and if u turn the switch in the trunk to manual it'll go down and up easily. just got to force it the first time. vert ftw.....!!!
