I have a S2 RB25DET in my S14 and was running it with the stock actuator set at 6lbs. of boost and want to bump it up. I set it at 12lbs. and I added fuel, but for this amount of boost do I have to upgrade the fuel injectors? I ran it earlier and found that I seem to have spark blow out I guess. I have NGK Iridiums gapped at the stock 1.1. The car runs good in 1st and 2nd, but in the 3rd,4th, and 5th it starts to bog, hesitate, and feels as it the motor shuts down and does not accerate until I let off the gas. It feels as if it does it at the stock boost setting as well, but no were near as bad. I have checked for leaks and everything seems fine, any ideas?

How did you add fuel? SAFC? I'd start with closing the gaps down to about .8. I'm betting you're either overfueling or your coilpacks are taking a shit. What RPM is it bogging/hesitating at? Around 4500 it's def your coilpacks.

try putting the fuel back to where it was. the fuel pressure regulator will increase fuel as boost increases. that gap seems pretty big too... im pretty sure spec is gap to .8mm

Why are you manually adding fuel by raising the fuel pressure? Unless you change the injectors, the stock ECU will add fuel according to the increase in boost. It is smart like that :)
Set the fuel pressure back to the stock setting and quit messing with it, forever. And the gap should be set at 0.8mm too. If those two ideas don't solve the hesitation, look to a boost leak and then check the coils.

It's not really bogging/hesitating, it just feels like it falls on it's face at about 5,000 rpm. It feels as if the motor die's out or turns off but when I let off the gas it comes back to life. I was using the nissmo fuel pressure regulator to increase fuel slightly, but will leave it at stock 34psi with vacum and 44 with out vacum, and try to regap the plugs. Can you regap Iridiums?

You CAN regap iridiums, but dont use the normal round gapper tool. I'd just try to use some needle nose pliars and be careful. Be sure not to touch the center electrode or you'll break it.
Initially, it kinda sounds like you're hitting boost cut, but if it's doing it at stock boost levels, then I dunno.

It feels like it's doing it only at wide open throttle. Anybody have any suggestions?
