Ad Description:

I have a pair of 300zx front calipers and drilled/slotted rotors that I removed from my Z. The calipers are 26mm and are the preferred light weight aluminum units. When I removed the calipers they were in working condition, however, I decided to extensively clean, re-grease the pistons, and re-paint the calipers; I did not replace the piston boots or rings since they are all in excellent/very good condition. The rotors were purchased at the end of May of last year and only have a little over 2000 street/highway miles on them due to a blown engine; I have receipts/documentation.

They come with most of the necessary hardware, however, you will need to buy a new caliper pin clip that I misplaced ($6.50 from Concept Z Performance); everything else standard is included.

Here is a direct link to the part needed:
Nissan OEM 300ZX Front Caliper Pin Clip 90-92 - Nissan performance parts (http://www.conceptzperformance.com/Cart/description.php?II=2000&Car_Type=NIS300&UID=)

Since I put in a lot of work to rebuild these calipers and because of the weight of them packaged together I'm hoping to sell the calipers/rotors/hardware for $300. Accepting “best offers” but please don’t try to low ball me with offers for under $200. I will only accept cash or paypal (w/ 3% fee).

I used the following write-up to clean, paint and rebuild these calipers:

how can these be freshly rebuilt if you reused the piston boots?

They're rebuilt because I (the following pictures are not my own, but show the same steps that I took):

Removed all 4 pistons from the calipers in order to clean the pistons thoroughly, removing fluid, dirt, and gunk.

Stripped the calipers all the way to the bare metal with my wire wheel tools. I also cleaned/wire wheeled the boot cover rings and hardware.

I then repainted the calipers with 4 coats of paint and 3 coats of clear coat.

Just because I didn't replace the rubber boots, doesn't mean that my calipers are not rebuilt; no steps were skipped except the replacement of the old boots since they were all in great condition. Hopefully you don't seriously think that JUST because you replace piston boots the calipers are rebuilt.

did you replace the little o-rings that go between the caliper halves? I'm not saying that you didn't "rebuild" them. I'm stating that if you take them apart you "should" use new parts to replace the worn ones. Even the boots/small sandwich o-rings between the calipers and use crocus cloth on the pistons to remove remotely small piston scores.

No, I also didn't replace the center o-rings since they didn't show any type of wear and it was not recommended in the write-up on 300zxclub.com. Also, the o-rings are NOT even included in the rebuilt kits for the calipers. Like you said "replace worn parts," if there were any I would have gladly done it. On a separate note, what's up with the quotation marks, are you the resident Dr. Evil here, lol.
