Ok First of all....This IS and LS6 for the not so smart posters on here. Secondly you can find all pics on www.ftperformance.net (http://www.ftperformance.net) under projects under adams 240sx. That is the car. I will get new pics up soon.

You said in your post that it was an LS1 with LS6 heads. There is a definate difference here between this and a full on LS6. LS6s did not come in 99 Camaros, they didnt come in any except the 2001 or 2002 and it was very limited in them. So please dont call people on here not so smart until you get things 100% figured out. Its either an LS1 with LS6 heads or and LS6.

They were put in some of the 01/02 because they ran out of LS1 blocks. The only way you can tell is from the color of the block. IF you were lucky enough to get one the block was darker. You can look it up on www.LS1.com (http://www.LS1.com) do a quick search there and you'll find it.

what does that matter anyways when the block is out of a 99?

im sorry this is off topic but figured either the title needed to be changed or specs fixed... when people post headlines like that it makes people to believe its just a way to get them to click the sale add!

ls1 in a 240sx still is sexy as fawk :naughtyd:

I was trying to agree with you after you made the first comment and he said something about the not so smart posters on here. My point was basically the same. I was just saying that if it was out of a 99 camaro there was no way it was an LS6. This car is still nice I'm sure, and I am definately interested to see pics.

The reason I said "not so smart" is because the only difference between an LS6 and an LS1 is the LS6 has LS6 heads and intake manifold with a different cam...Well guess what ladies and gentlemen. I have and LS6 intake manifold and heads that have been ported and polished and retainers with valves and springs. Along with a custom cam. I believe this makes this a little better than an LS6.

well put.

Nice car though, and not a terrible price. You'd be better off posting pics in your first post than having people have to click links to see pics... just a suggestion

sorry... but read every post.... THERE is actually a difference besides the heads, cam and intake manifold between the LS6 and LS1......

The LS6 blocks are a tad diff then an LS1's I know this because i have owned both an LS6 and an LS1.

you my friend... have a LS1 with LS6 heads. NOT AN LS6 but continue to argue if you want just your credibility is going down the drain.... and not to be harsh but i remember almost picking up a 408 stroker LS1 Zenki making 480whp for around 13k running LAST year..... so maybe you might want to lower your price a tad.

reason im even chiming in is because im interested but no way for that much as you can get a nice Transam or Camaro z28 LS1 with mods for 5-7k

The car will be running in about a week. It is being wired up as we speak. Go buy your TA then. It is not a 240 swapped.

Mods lock this thread...I am redoing it.
