I swear people need to pay attention to what they're doing. I was waiting to turn left (east) out onto a busy 4 lane highway. Just sitting there waiting for an opening...then WHAM!! I look to see a Dodge Spirit pinned up against my car by a Town&Country. The Dodge was waiting to turn left into the shopping center and was motioned to do so by a car on the inside lane of the two westbound lanes. The kid in the Spirit didn't see the Chysler van in the outside westbound lane. He went, the van T-boned him and pushed him into the front of my car. The good thing is that everyone was OK. Tomorrow I have to go pick up some accident forms and send them to my insurance company. I'm going to need a new hood and a new bumper. I'm glad no lights were busted, I know those things are expensive. Here's some pics of the battle scars. I hate to see my baby like this.:(
Try this: go to the folder entitled "stupid hautians." blah (http://photos.yahoo.com/thelinja)
I know the damage doesn't look bad, but almost the whole driver side of the front of the bumper is scuffed and scratched to hell.
o shi t good to hear that you are ok

Sorry to hear about your bruised baby :( At least nobody was hurt. They had insurance, right? I'm glad no lights were busted & no frame damage. What's the deal w/ people getting into wrecks lately? I'm getting scared to drive!
Last week I was trying to pass a semi on the highway (3 lanes wide--he was in the middle lane & I was trying to pass him on the left) and I was right next to his trailer and his turn signal comes on and he starts moving over. I knew he wouldn't hear my horn & I wouldn't have time to finish passing him so I slammed on my brakes (nobody was behind me luckily) and had to let him cut me off. I was right next to a concrete divider so I couldn't cut left anymore--he almost sandwiched me between himself and the divider. DIPSHIT DRIVERS SUCK!!!!!!!
Once again, sorry to hear about the accident. Let us know what the estimates are. I'm thinking around $1100-$1200 (new front bumper cover/paint/clearcoat, repair corner of hood/paint/clearcoat--don't think they'll replace it but I can't tell how badly that corner's kinked, realign PS headlight).

I'm glad your dad wasn't injured badly. Healing a collarbone can be difficult, though. I hope he's not too sore tomorrow.

Alright, I was checking out the damage again today and I noticed the driver side headlight was pushed in a little. Upon further inspection I noticed one of the support arms is broken. The headlight itself isn't broken, just one of the ars that holds it in place. I got all of the insurance BS done. I just need to get some estimates. Hopefully all will be well in a couple of weeks.
