after counseling with my very good mechanic friend he convinced me it would b too much work to fix it. sorry dont want it anymore thanks. sorry again for not going through with it.

it's really not that hard to replace the rod and main bearings

This is a good buy, as long as you've got another $1000 or so - you can pull the longblock yourself, dis-assemble it, and have new bearings/rings/seals installed, then put a Power Enterprise/HKS/Tomei head gasket on it, and have a basically new motor that you KNOW will be solid.

If I was interested in an SR hatch, I'd buy it.
