After leaving my car for a few hours it has been doing this recently..

Pull out of driveway, after about 2-3 minutes i hear a kind of grinding/squeeking noise thats very loud, sounds like its coming from my rear left tire?

After driving another 5-10 minutes it goes away until I park it and it gets cold again.. I don't hear it below 15km/hr, doesn't get any worse at higher speeds.

My brakes are 4-5 months old all the way around... rotors/calipers etc,. what could this noise be? almost sounds like a wear indicator although i'm not touching my brakes when the noise happens

Thanks

Me and my friend pulled the wheel off, sanded down the edges of rotor/pad, regreased and checked the caliper which is working OK.

He thinks the rotor is warped causing the noise.. anyone disagree or have any advice? I might just go buy a rotor and throw it on I can't see what else it would be.

my buddy with a HICAS S13 has this same issue... no clue what's causing it though.

rotors and pads were replaced, to no avail.

Eh I got an LSD s14 but regardless its definitely related to the rotor/pad.

The sound isnt a constant pitch, the slower you go the less you hear the higher/louder pitch part.. Meaning maybe one area of the rotor is messed up? Can't logically figure it out.

is the brake stuck?

cant be because it noise occurs 2-3 mins after driving as stated.

Yes and it will go away intermittently. Also I pumped the brakes while the wheel was off and my friend said the caliper was releasing/functioning properly.

maybe resurfacing the rotors will work...

groaning is usually associated with wheel bearings, that and if your car feels really sluggish or your entire floor vibrates
