2 days ago i hit the curb going pretty fast. Damaged the Lower Arm control in the front and rear of the right side of vechicle. Guy at shop gave me an estimate for 850.00 to replace it thats including labor. Is that a good price or am i getting ripped?

i pretty sure you are referring to your lower control arm. and yes i think you're getting ripped. terribly bad as a matter of fact. by the part and do it yourself. i did it on my 200sx and it only cost something like $120

Yes, the brand new one from Nissan dealer is just about $120, and the labor charge should be just around 2 or 3 hours, I suggest that you should look for some other shops.

a lower control arm is a great junkyard part. I bought one for my old neon for about 70 cdn (45 US). Labor, if you don't do it yourself should be about 2 hrs max
is Replacing the lower control arm something i can really do myself? i don't know to much about cars but is it pretty much self explanotory?

Yes, it isn't that hard, I replaced mine myself. But you will need the right tools to do the job, like a rod seperator. And also, the bolts are extremely hard to get loose, you will need a long breaker bar to unbolt them. Also, you will need an extra jack to hold up the new lower control arm in the right place.
