for $600, all those things listed will run like crap. Yes, even the porn.

If you want everything to run like butter then you're looking for something in the $900+ price range.

1. STAY THE FUCK AWAY FROM DELL.

2. STAY FURTHER THE FUCK AWAY FROM GATEWAY.

For your price I'd look into an HP (I prefer the non DV lines). They have very hard materials and are not flimsy. No flexing. You can score a good deal if you go to their Business Outlet site (refurb with 1yr warranty) but you need to call to order.

look into a lenovo ideapad. it doesn't look half bad , only bad thing is its a bit big. i have a y430 and it runs fine. it does everything i want. the only bad thing is if you want to game ( which wasn't part of your list ) , it doesn't perform on that end, unless you upgrade the graphics card.

fatwallet has lots of savings on them too i got mine for about 630 total, and its got everything upgraded except the graphics card

its supposed to be real good for video watching and stuff too. i'm too lazy to go look back for the references and the specs, you can look yourself if you're serious.

invest in a macbook if you live near an apple store because that combination equals the best service your money can buy.

otherwise, look at laptops that have the highest memory storage and hard drive storage.. especially since you didn't list "games" under your list.

this carries much wisdom. it would be wise to follow his teachings
