400hp BMW 540i, 300hp s13, 230hp 535i..which to sell?

I have too many cars (all of which I like)- but don't have the time to work on them. I need at least one trackable car, but DD reliability is a must - which should I sell to make room in the garage?

s13 with a bunch of stuff (turbo, suspension, etc)

Pros: lightweight-easy to work on, all that stuff you guys know about
Cons: I'm kind of burned out on it- just had it too long, and minor electrical gremlins like to bite me arse

1994 BMW 540i-supercharged 4.0L v8

Pros: 400hp- quiet..big, amazing brakes, somehow gets better gas mileage tha my SR

Cons: AUTOMATIC ...NOOOOO 5spd with a dinan trans tune..but still automatic..and 3800lbs.

1990 BMW 535i 5spd

Pros: I have a turbo kit for it...5spd
Cons: 3500lbs....ugly, rusty, ugly, and heavy...(at 230hp=ouch)


What I really need is a 5.0L 4cyl high comp lightweight car with a backseat and cheap parts..ughh

An automatic, supercharged v8 should never get better gas mileage than an SR20.

Get rid of the 535i and sell it with the turbo kit.

The 540i is just baller, but not sure about the reliability of it.

The 240 is just plain fun, you know.

lol...I'll never do a new car....probably not even something less than 5 years old...I have this sickness called 'the cheap'.
I'm looking to get rid of one-maybe 2 (keeping at least one manual)..not even looking for another car yet.

As for Pontiacs...no. I have personal experience with them and will never...in my life.... own a gm product (errr...ok z06)..and that's not just because I hate america.

I think you should keep the 540 for those occasions you want a comfortable car or to pick up the ladies. It's automatic, so you can cruise so easily too.

Keep the 240 for having fun.

imo, keep the 240 and sell the rest. if you dont want to do that, sell all and get a subaru. those things run forever!! plus, you'll get good gas mileage and a fun car to track

sell all of them get a used IS300 with manual transmission. and you will have option for 2JZGTE swap and 6 speed manual swap. it will still more reliable than all of your current car in anyway

S13 looks nice. Get rid of #2 and 3, get a nice daily and some mods for the S13.

Personally though, I'd get rid of all of them and get an STi or something.

weird- I agree with 93.75% of the comments above.

I wish I had time to keep all the cars (535i stripped for weight track only car, 540i as a 'cruiser', and 240sx as well another track/street car)

535i does look like the weak one...maybe I'll move it's interior (nice all black leather) to the 540i, and sell it or turn it into a beater/backup
