Even if he is rich, he's not a big spender when it comes to cars.
second car he got was a miata.
$1200 isn't really worth it for an old junker like that.
was hoping it was an FD or even a FC turbo for a moment.

damn cheapskate.

it was in 85 what do you expect? it was a sports car during the 80s. thats like a star buying a 370z today to roll around in.. wierd al aint that big imo. He probably didnt make as much as a typical star in his field would make today.

Al was very commercially successful comedian back in the day.

even gots lots of exposure via MTV and other media in the 80's.
most memorable was his spoofs on Micheal Jackson.

"Weird Al" Yankovic - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Weird_al#Music_videos)

"Alfred Matthew "Weird Al" Yankovic (Serbian Cyrillic: Алфред Јанковић) (pronounced /ˈjæŋkəvɪk/; born October 23, 1959) is an American singer-songwriter, rapper, music producer, actor, comedian, and satirist. Yankovic is known in particular for his humorous songs that make light of popular culture and that often parody specific songs by contemporary musical acts. Since his first-aired song parody in 1979, he has sold more than 12 million albums—more than any other comedy act in history—[1] recorded more than 150 parody and original songs,[2][3][4] and has performed more than 1,000 live shows.[5] His works have earned him three Grammy Awards among nine nominations, four gold records, and six platinum records in the United States. Yankovic's first top ten Billboard album (Straight Outta Lynwood) and single ("White & Nerdy") were both released in 2006, nearly three decades into his career."

In addition to recording his albums, Yankovic has written and starred in his own film, UHF, and his own television show, The Weird Al Show, and directed music videos for himself and other artists including Ben Folds, Hanson, and The Presidents of the United States of America."

it was funny to watch all the autobots and junkions dancing around to it....

I think he lives in my neighborhood (West Hollywood) or knows someone here. I was walking with my gf down to Melrose ave. and who do we see on the other side of the street?
Weird Al haulin' ass down the sidewalk with his daughter on his shoulders.
Awesome, I expected no less :)
