Ok i'm thinkin about buying this 240 i found with a sr20det swap already done. In the description it says its intercolled by a 15"X20" Volvo 9000 intercooler thats sandwiched between the radiator and condenser. Has anyone heard of anyone doin this. Is this safe. Ill probobly get a blitz intercooler kit immediately after purchase, but just wanted to see what you guys thought. The person also said they have a Bosch BOV which vents back into the system so it does not screw up the fuel injection. I was planning to get a Blitz BOV that doesnt vent back into the system. Will the blitz mess up the fuel injection that much, or should i just stick with the bosch? Thanks

Main question----why is this person selling his/her car after doing the SR swap?
Minor question----you mention "in the description"--does this mean you read this in an ad? Have you actually seen the car yet?
I read that when you blow off air and not back into the system, you're blowing off metered air detected by the mafs. This'll cause the engine to go rich(between shifts when the bov is working) which causes a nice fireball through the exhaust :-) I heard it could clog your cat up if you had one, eventually. So many people do it that way, i wouldn't say it's a big deal...

Bosch diverter valves suck ass. Get an aftermarket BOV that recircs. Non-recirc BOVs are for a. race cars with standalone EFI or b. ricers that just want the PFFFFT sound and don't care that their cars run like ass.
There's no such thing as a "Volvo 9000" so you might want to find out if they meant some other Volvo model like a 740 Turbo, or if they meant Saab 9000. Either way it's a functional but limited IC that's good for stock boost and not much more, but it's safe enough to drive it like that.
I would look how hard it will be to turn the car over to you with a SR20 in it befor I would go and buy this.

yeah probably the Saab 9000 IC. one of Unstable Hybrids project cars uses one, mounted in the same location. totally stealth look works REALLY well.

theres other ways around the rich conditions that are caused by an ABOV, like running a blow through set up or converting away from MAFS. (HKS PFCON) I have an ABOV and neither of these setups but I also have the spring tight enough that the BOV dosent open if I just let off the gas. I pretty much have to be building full boost and duimp the clutch for it to open and I dont have any stumbling problems with it
