Anyone know this guy? He totally ripped me off on this suspension. I bought it from him on Sr20 forum a month ago.

Why the hell would somebody even do that to those threads in the first place?

It was Obviously installed improperly. The nut was not tightened properly and the threads were wearing on the strut plate.
