front ones are blown, need to be sent in.
can i blow the rears if i run stock struts w/ cut springs in the front?

i have a friend who runs just coils on the back. he doesnt seem to have problems

naw if anything will die its the stock front struts with cut springs...rear coils will be golden...car will drive diff with the cut springs in front and coiled rear so be careful

you can do whatever you want....you could run fucking truck coils up front..just gotta make some shit up.

okay another question.
anyone ever got hks coilovers rebuilt? how much?
and what would make the front left make a clunking noise?

it would clunk because the damper's blown and when you hit bumps, it bottoms out in the tube.

you should probably just get all four rebuilt now, because you'll be dealing with this problem with the rears in a couple of years.

and on and on and on.

kinda like.. sometimes when your front brake pads wear, you just replace em all.
get everything back in time you know.

Wow the fact the people here run a pair of coilovers at a time simply scares me. Your cars are so off balance braking and cornering is just simply dangerous to even think about. Please do things right and purchase atleast a complete set of coilovers or have them repair before installing them.

just weld the cut springs to the struts son! Actually will improve the ride alot

thats like if i punch you in the face will it hurt your feet, im not sure but we can try.


as suggested just get all four rebuilt at once.

^ call them, just OMG dont deal with JIC for getting coils rebuilt, they were the biggest pain in the ass ever... that was like 3 years ago so IDK maybe they are better now
