sinse ive had my car, the ebrake has never really worked that well.. but after i replaced the rear pads, it barely works.. if i tighten it then the brakes just rub the rotor, but it doesnt lock up.

could this be because the rotors have 240+ miles on them?

has anyone else had this problem?

My stock ebrake sucked, because the stock pads suck. The cable itself could be stretched, but the adjustment nut under the ebrake handle would make up for that - if you yank it and it engages correctly (an inch or two from resting position) and doesn't brake the car much, it's time to replace rotors and pads.

the calipers are shot i think. 240+ miles, if i adjust it then one side constantly rubs. ill check out thw cables and pads
